This is a great site for students interested in California colleges. It has an extensive
list of all of the California colleges as well as a matching tool, virtual tours,
admissions requirements for the various schools, financial aid information, and
a career planning section.
College Source
The College Source offers access to nearly 8,000 undergraduate and graduate school
catalogues to aid in the college search process.
Community College Searchable Database
A
wonderful resource for students interested in Community College. This site, maintained
by Maricopa Community College, contains a searchable index to the web sites for
1287 community colleges in the United States, Canada, and elsewhere around the
world.
CSU Mentor
If you are considering applying to a California State University, you will want to
visit this site. From here you can learn more about all of the CSU campuses, check
your eligibility, learn about the different financial aid opportunities for students,
and begin your online application.
Peterson’s
The Peterson’s site has long been a fantastic source for information about
college and the admissions process. Here you can get information to help you begin
your school search, research financial aid, and get helpful information about your
standardized tests.
The Common Application
Two hundred and ninety-nine schools accept the common application. Some of the colleges
that accept the common app are Amherst, Cornell, Dartmouth, Harvey Mudd College,
Harvard, Reed, and University of San Francisco. From this site you can learn more
about the common application and the schools that accept it, download the supplemental
application forms for the schools that require them, and begin your application
online.
The University of California Pathways
This is the University of California’s online system to apply for undergraduate
admission. From this site you can access the University of California’s admission
site and find information about UC admissions policy and financial aid, determine
your eligibility for admission, apply for admission online, or download a paper application.
This is a great place to start for all students interested in applying to a UC campus.
U.S. News and World Report College Rankings
The U.S. News and World Report site maintains a list of college and graduate programs'
rankings.

This list of universities across the country is maintained by the University of
Texas.

This is another helpful college search tool. It has links to college resources

Now you can fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid online.

A searchable database of over 1.3 million scholarships.
FinAid
Another great resource for scholarship and financial aid information.
The Official Site of the ACT
Here you can find valuable information about the ACT, register for the exam, and
get practice tests. They also have a simple college search tool, a financial aid
estimator, and links to online college applications.
The College Board
This is the College Board’s official site. Here you can register for the SATs,
get your score reports, and get valuable information about testing. The College Board
also administers the PSAT/NMSQT, CLEP, and AP exams. You can find out more information
about these tests on their web site as well.
Educational Testing Services
Though the college board distributes the SAT, ETS creates the test. Their site
has valuable information about the test and sample test questions.
FairTest
According to their website, the National Center for Fair & Open Testing (FairTest) works to end the misuses
and flaws of standardized testing and to ensure that evaluation of students, teachers
and schools is fair, open, valid and educationally beneficial.
